From Fairies To Photons is a space of collaborative writing (aka improv lit).  While writers use their own styles and tones to create different environments of intrigue, readers are taken on a journey of unlimited depths between the shadow and the soul.

How Does This Work?

Each narrative is composed of multiple scenes.  Each scene is posted in time and is written by a different person.  Each person cannot write two consecutive scenes.   Like improv, writers weave a story by building on previous scenes.  Writing styles are completely their own and can be of any genre or language.  Readers get to transcend their minds through variation and direction.

Thank you for saying that. If you are interested, please read the following guidelines:

1. Read through the currently open narrative.
2. Email us at holler@ironmayhem.com to express interest & reserve the next open scene. Please note that scenes are typically reserved in advance (this helps us maintain flow).
3. Someone from our group of lit nerds will send you the most recent open scene for you to build on. You will be given one week to complete your scene.  Please keep writing to a maximum of 800 words.
4. Any entries that incite hatred against anyone or any group of people will not be considered.  If your entry passes our criteria, we will send you the publish date.  Your scene will be posted anonymously on that date.
5. Spread the word to friends & family by sharing the link to your scene.
